And we thought Maye babies were big?!?

NC 'Big twins' tip scales at a combined 23 pounds

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - They aren't America's heaviest newborn twins on record, but they certainly tip the scales: Sean William Maynard and Abigail Rose Maynard weighed in at a combined 23 pounds and 1 ounce at birth this week, a North Carolina hospital announced Friday.

The boy weighed 10 pounds, 14 ounces; the girl, 12 pounds, 3 ounces. Springs said both babies are in excellent condition after their birth to parents Joey and Erin Maynard of Winston-Salem.

Guess we'll stop complaining about our big babies!!

Granted your kids combined weighed more than that - but dude - 23 pounds at once? Can you just imagine how big she was?!?!

Besides - don't complain - it just means they're healthy!!! Some are just more "healthy" than others!!

A couple in my Sunday school class had a 9lb baby. They were telling Matt and I how big she was. So how it came up that I was over 11lbs at birth. They decided not say anything else about their "big" baby. :-)

As the dad of the twins, I would just like to tell everyone that everyone (Abigail, Sean and Mommy) are doing great. Hoping you are all also doing well.....
