Dance with Cinderella

While waiting for Sarah's glasses at the mall this afternoon, Cinderella by Stephen Curtis Chapman came on overhead. Sarah surely thought I'd lost my mind when I almost started to cry. Then I told her why.

The song was inspired by Stephen's daughters. One of them, Maria age 5, was killed in the family driveway being hit by a van as it was backing out. Now when I hear the song I can't help but be emotional. I am so ever grateful for my children. Yes, they drive me crazy many times a day - but in the end I am filled with more love and happiness. Unexplainable events like this make me remember to take the time to enjoy the time with my babies.

Here's the video:

Now go dance with your cinderella - or prince!!
