This is how Alex talked me into going on the enclosed tube rides at White Water this afternoon. And guess what - the boy really is smart! He was absolutely right. Yet again, I found myself cursing my knees going up thousands of steps - well it felt like a thousand at least - only to be hooting and hollering like a kid on the way down. I hit the water and of course wanted to go again. It was a blast.
Alex took his boogie board today. He spent a lot of time in the wave pool - we even went out together to the deepest part. He got a bit nervous and tightened his grip on the board but did great.
Alex and I miss Sarah a bunch - but we did have a good time today. Oh, forgot to mention that Sarah is spending the week with her Hite grandparents in Tennessee. Next month Alex will go and it'll be me and Sarah time. Then she can laugh at me at White Water too!!
