Fun at the Johnstons

The kids and I headed up to Wichita yesterday. We had a fun day/evening. Sarah took off with Shannie to the beauty supply store. Maryanne and I took off for the grocery store. Abandoning the boys to peace and quiet with legos and tv.

Marlon cooked - gotta love fresh from the grill food! Then to prove how totally spoiled I am - my sister made my favorite cookies. Brown Sugar Cookies! YUM!! Alex helped...

While they cooked, Shannie and Sarah started on their hair color ... and Alex ended up joining in that fun too.

Sarah and Shannie putting on their color ... so charming! The girls ended up coloring Alex's hair red too. Here they are after a good wash and conditioning.

You can't see Alex's color very well in the picture. But in the sun, his hair looks a lot like Sarah's. It's really cute.

Anyway, we're about to go find some source of food and then see what the afternoon holds ... but so far, it's been a great weekend!!
