Dancing with my Boy!

Those of you who have been around Alex and I know we have an special bond. Maybe it was due to circumstances at the time of his birth. Maybe it is because he's my youngest. Maybe it's because of many things. But for now at least, I'm glad some things never change.

From early in his life, the song from Tarzan where his mom is singing to him "you'll be in my heart" and the song by Phil Collins has been one of "our songs". He was watching Tarzan while Sarah and I were in my room discussing high school drama (another LONG story). And she said told me I needed to go dance with Alex.

I went into the living room - but the scene had changed in the movie and the song was over. When I told Alex why I'd come running in there, he said to turn it on the computer. So we did. While Alex and I were dancing, Sarah took pictures. She also video taped but since Alex threatened her life is she posted it on MySpace, I figure he wouldn't be thrilled with me posting the video here either.

I'm so glad I have these great kids. Thankful everyday for the joy they bring to my life. And, Alex, thanks for the dance! Love, Momma...
